Hey there! I’m Morgan Bellock. I’m a PR pro, caffeine addict, and recovering perfectionist. I’m obsessed with storytelling – I often think in headlines and am constantly searching for innovative ways to tell a brand’s story.

Someone once told me, it’s not luck that changes your fate. Everyone in this world will have situations that are “lucky.” Instead, it’s what you do with that luck that truly has the power to change the world. That’s what brought me here today. A Midwestern girl with big dreams and tireless advocate for women’s health— I have a strong desire to create real change for the people and organizations that need it most.

I am an award-winning publicist with over 10 years of experience in a variety of companies in consumer, corporate and government sectors. Most recently, I was a Vice President at Zapwater Communications, a boutique PR agency in Chicago, spearheading the consumer division and leading integrated PR campaigns across a variety of divisions.

During my tenure, I was responsible for growing the practice, leading the strategy and execution of PR programs and conceptualizing advanced, integrated campaigns for new and prospective clients.

Prior to Zapwater, I spent 6 years at Weber Shandwick, one of the largest PR agencies in the world, honing my craft and developing my skills as a PR practitioner. I have experience working on some of the largest consumer packaged goods brands, both on the media relations and crisis management side of the business. More importantly, I have a strong desire to make a real difference in the world.

In the fall of 2017, my world was turned upside down when I walked into a routine checkup only to hear those fateful words, “you have cancer.” You can read more about my story here.

From that point forward, I made a commitment to use my voice for the greater good. I’m passionate about storytelling and helping causes that are working to better our world. This led me to create MB Public Relations—a PR consultancy for purpose-driven companies.
